Fort Bend drum teacher David Floyd. David Floyd is an accomplished guitar and drum performer and teacher. He began his music career as a piano student in Yamaha Music Education courses at age 4. There he learned the basics of harmony, rhythm, and musicality. In high school, he played Alto Saxophone in the Lamar High School Band. But his first love was always guitar and drum. After several years of study, he began playing professionally in various venues in Houston. David has always loved to teach, having begun teaching swimming as a young teenager. With training in the techniques of teaching group lessons, he has several years experience teaching both Private and Group lessons in Drum and Guitar. While continuing his teaching career, David is pursuing a degree in Mass Communication.
