Fun Begins in Music Camp at Ft. Bend Music Center

Add music to you summer, play, perform and compose. Whatever your interest check out Ft. Bend Music Center (FBMC) located at 12919 SW FRWY #160 in Stafford; offering summer music classes for piano, guitar, drums, composition, musical theater and TMEA All-State Choir Camp.

Classes for piano, guitar, drums, will be held twice a week for two weeks, cost $95.00 for ages 3-15. We will offer three sessions: June 8th thru June 18th, July 6th thru July 16th and July 20th thru July 30th. You choose Mon and Wed or Tues and Thurs, class times will be 10:00 or 11:00. We are offering evening classes on Tues and Thurs for piano classes call for more details.

For the more experience piano student we will offer composition classes. Want to be like Bach? Join this class which will be held July 6 thru July 23 and will include a finished composition and performance. Cost will be $175.00 for this unique experience. Classes will be held Tues 6:00-6:45pm, Wed 6:30-7:15pm and Thurs 7:00-7:45pm. Student will have 3 classes a week for three weeks.

Musical Theater Dept. will be performing “Little Red Riding Hood”. Classes start June 8th thru June 18th. Classes will be held Mon-Fri, 1:00-2:30 and the cost will be $190.00. You won’t want to miss this funny twist on a familiar story.

High School Musical III will be offered this summer in July. Students will be in class twice a week for three weeks. Classes will start July 7 thru July 22 with a performance on July 22nd. Classes will be held Tues 6:30-7:30pm and Wed 6:00-7:00pm and cost $150.00. Material cost $15.00.

JAZZ SUMMER CLASS: Jazz up your music experience with a piano jazz class. Students must have 1 year piano experience, for ages 8-13. This fun class will be held Tuesday and Thursdays starting July 7 thru 30, with a performance on July 30th at 7:00pm. The cost will be $200.00, books are not included. May offer and evening class if needed. Call for more information, you won’t want to miss this cool class.
